Dr. Joanne Quah graduated from the prestigious University of Melbourne in December 2006 and has since aspired to achieve excellence in many aspects of dentistry.
Orthodontics became her main interest, and thus she pursued it seriously. She completed the Progressive Orthodontics Seminar in 2010 and also received accreditation as an Invisalign provider in 2009. She has attended advanced courses such as the 2011 Asia Pacific Invisalign Forum in Thailand, and 2012 Invisalign North Asia Summit in Macau.
She treats mixed dentition and adult cases using a variety of techniques, such as functional appliances, Invisalign, fixed appliances (both self-ligating and conventional bracket systems).
Dr. Quah believes in full-mouth rehabilitation for her patients, so she started to combine orthodontics with the use of implants and Temporary Anchorage Devices (TAD). She attended the 2nd ITI Education Week - Contemporary Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in 2010, held in Hong Kong. Shortly after, she became a member of the International Team of Implantology (ITI).
Dr. Quah also has experience in using Laser in dentistry for some hard and soft tissue procedures. Experience, scientific knowledge and a firm mindset to satisfy the needs of her patients are her major goals in being a professional caregiver.
She provides patients with treatment options that enable them to make decisions customized to the individual's needs. She is known to have an incredible amount of patience, coupled with the ability to provide a reassuring smile at all times.
